台灣車用燈具協會(Vehicle Lighting Association, VLA)旨在提升國內車燈界相關專業人員之技術交流並加強與產業界、學術界接軌，以促進其專業知識提升與進步。
台灣車用燈具協會為GTB在台灣正式代表組織，可以正式以會員身份參加聯合國車燈法規的起草與制定，並參與聯合國在車燈工作小組GRE對UN Regulations聯合國法規的審議工作。
國際車用燈具專家協會(The International Automotive Lighting and Light Signaling Expert Group, GTB)成立於 1952 年，為一非政府組織(NGO)，主要任務為研議車用照明(Lighting)及燈號類(Light Signalling)燈具的聯合國法規(UN Regulations)。目前共有德、日、美、英、法等 19個會員國。GTB屬於聯合國WP29下屬工作小組“GRE(專責車用照明與燈具)”的專業技術諮詢機構。
GRE為WP.29下專責主動安全(Active Safety)設備，特別是載具照明(Vehicle Lighting)與燈號(Light Signaling)法規的研擬與諮詢的工作小組．GRE固定每年兩次邀集。

Vehicle Lighting Association (VLA)

The Taiwan Vehicle Lighting Association (VLA) aims to improve the technical exchanges between professionals in the domestic automotive industry and strengthen its integration with industry and academia to promote its professional knowledge and progress. The VLA is the official representative organization of GTB (The International Automotive Lighting and Light Signaling Expert Group) in Taiwan. It can officially participate in the drafting and formulation of the national vehicle lights regulations as a member, and cooperate with the United States in the vehicle working group GRE on the UN Regulations. GTB is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 1952, whose main task is to study the UN Regulations for Lighting and Light Signalling lamps. At present, there are 19 member states including Germany, Japan, the United States, Britain and France. GTB belongs to the professional technical consulting organization of GRE, a subordinate working group of WP29. GRE is a working group under WP.29 in charge of Active Safety equipment, especially focus on the regulation research and consultation for Vehicle Lighting and Signaling Light. GRE hold convocation twice a year.
